Under crimson clouds and fire punctured skies
We walk this earth together you and I
Specks of sand in a desert of time
Clutching at our short lives as to rafts
In seas of turbulent waves and hidden currents
Laying claims to be Gods, flirting with eternity
Custodians of the flame, defenders of the faith
In life and it’s high speed race unfolding
A moment found’s a moment lost
To the graveyards of forgotten time
Memories rearranged in the libraries of minds
What will remain of these lives, yours and mine
After our book of moments, to time’s library
Will one day inevitably be consigned?
Beautiful poem… Thank you…
